He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aviation of the Rzeszów University of Technology in 1995. He obtained his doctorate in technical sciences (scientific specialty - internal combustion engines) in 2003 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aviation of the Rzeszów University of Technology. He deals with the problems related to the emission of exhaust gas pollutants from internal combustion engines and the issues of low-temperature combustion in engines with a variable compression ratio.
